EU FOR CITIZENS: REMEMBRANCE

On 17th December 2021, the European Association ” World – Our Home” organized the Final conference of the project “15th Anniversary of EU Enlargement” which is funded by the program “Europe for Citizens” Strand 1 “European Remembrance” and co-funded by the Ministry of Culture of Latvia. The Final Conference was attended by112 people, of which 23 people attended in person and 89 people logged in ONLINE via the ZOOM platform.
During the conference representatives from 4 partner countries Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Poland shared their experience in organizing project activities, the experience gained through the project, and how it has affected citizens’ knowledge, attitudes towards the European Union.
During the conference, our main researcher Iveta Graudiņa presented the research. To implement the aims of the project, one of the tasks was to carry out research on the attitudes of the population to the European Union and the issues related to EU development.
EA “World-Our Home” also presented the Documentary film based on video interviews of local inhabitants in each partner country.
The final conference was organized in the Cultural center “Ziemeļblāzma” in Rezekne and also streamed Live on the Zoom platform. Thanks to everybody who came to the conference in person and joined the Zoom platform online, as well as thanks to all partner organizations and the project team for the successful partnership and great work that was done during the project.
