Conference in Kaunas
After the first meeting in Lodz - Poland, Lithuania, Kaunas took over the baton, where the meeting of partners took place on March 14-17, 2020. During this event, the photo contest was officially announced and citizens in every partner country could send their photos for the competition and express their views about the EU through photographs. In this seminar, each partner organization presented the first analysis of the local research which was done till March 2020 about people’s attitudes, opinions towards EU citizenship, EU policies, enlargement, and the future. We analyzed the common and different interests of citizens in 4 countries and debated of main topics which people worry about.
During the meeting, local surveys were discussed and views were exchanged, further action plans for the projects were outlined. Later, the event “We are part of the European Union” was held, to which local residents also joined. Residents cheerfully recalled the times before and after joining the EU, discussed, and participated in a quiz.
The seminar was attended by 70 participants, including representatives from partner organizations.
